In early 1981, a group of musical friends gathered regularly on the ground floor, in a high ceilinged Georgian bedsit room, at 24 Veronica Road, Tooting Bec, South London, frequented by Steve Pawsey.
Over a period of the next 3 years they created, played and recorded some groundbreaking musical journeys, on three different borrowed Teac 3340 Simyl -Sync 4 Track Reel to Reel tape machines.
Eventually it was mixed, in the same, vacant bedsit, in the middle of the night a year later.
That same year, Steve moved to Cork, Ireland and continued his musical adventures ... then finally, feeling safe enough in 2003 (and wise enough) in Castlefreke, West Cork, he remastered 'The Bedsit Collectives' tapes to digital format.
Then another 13 years later, Arthur Pawsey, his now 24 year old musician, film, conceptual artist Son has couragously encouraged the final public release and "The Listening" of the 'Reality's Tapeworm Cycle' ... on the unsuspecting population.
